Position: Part Time

Services: Working within our specialist service for young people with Developmental Language Disorder across Bucks, and at our College service in High Wycombe.

Rate: Starting salary commensurate with NHS Band 6 – Agenda for change, depending on skills and experience.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative Speech and Language Therapist to join our services in Buckinghamshire working within our specialist service for young people with Developmental Language Disorder across Bucks, and at our College service in High Wycombe.

Symbol UK is a not-for-profit speech and language therapy service. We are proud of the breadth of skills and experience in our staff team, where specialist speech and language therapists work alongside highly experienced therapists, assistants and co-workers across the South East.  This enables us to offer a range of specialist speech, language and communication assessments, intervention and support to children and adults with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities. 

The post is part time, currently 1-2 days per week, with the potential to increase.  Term time only or all year round is negotiable.  We can offer flexible working patterns where contacts allow.  We have excellent support and supervision systems and provide a high level of training and mentoring. Most of our staff team have worked in our services for many years, developing specialist skills and their portfolio of responsibilities within our services.
