We are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our friendly team at our Short Breaks Respite Centre in Lenham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in a safe, welcoming, and person-centred environment.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs

  • Assist with personal care and daily living activities

  • Support individuals with complex health needs and mobility requirements

  • Administer and support with medication

  • Promote communication, choice, independence, and dignity

  • Provide emotional support, reassurance, and companionship

  • Monitor wellbeing and report any changes or concerns

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

  • Work closely with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals

  • Uphold professional standards, confidentiality, and safeguarding responsibilities

What We're Looking For

  • Flexible and reliable

  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

  • Passionate about supporting people to achieve their goals

  • Able to work shifts, complete sleeps, waking nights and work weekends.

Previous experience supporting people with learning disabilities, Down syndrome, complex health needs, or behaviours of concern would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Right to work in the UK (We do not offer Sponsorship)
