Executive Administrator - Speech and Language Therapy

Job Title: Executive Administrator

Location: Primarily home-based, with occasional travel to our service areas in Kent, Surrey, Bucks & Berkshire

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum pro rata (depending on experience)

Contract Type: 2-3 days a week (15-22.5 hours)

Starting: Ideally September 2026

Symbol Speech and Language Therapy is seeking an organised and proactive Executive Administrator to provide high-level support to our Leadership Team. You will provide high quality administrative support, help coordinate projects and activities, and ensure key processes run smoothly.  As part of a small organisation, you'll be involved in a wide range of work and play an important role in supporting our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative and organisational support to the Leadership Team.

  • Acting as the first point of contact for new enquiries and liaising with families.

  • Coordinating meetings, documentation and communications.

  • Supporting the management of projects and organisational initiatives.

  • Maintaining accurate records, systems and compliance processes.

  • Preparing reports and other key documents.

  • Supporting team events and activities across the organisation.

  • Managing workload and working time effectively.

About You

You will have experience in an administrative, coordination or business support role and be confident managing a varied workload. You will be highly organised, able to work independently and comfortable working closely with senior leaders.

You will also have:

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.

  • The ability to manage confidential information appropriately.

  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.

 Experience of speech and language therapy services or other services for people with disabilities (working within or using services) may be helpful.
