Rate: £22,071 annual salary (for aged 21+, to be reviewed after Probation)

Current vacancies: Full Time & Part Time, Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.

We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Support Workers to join our Supported Living Service in Herne Bay. This is a mix of male & female clients with mixed age range. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with various needs in achieving their personal goals and maximizing their independence. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those we support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide person-centred support to individuals in a supported living environment.
Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Support individuals in managing their medications, ensuring adherence to prescribed regimens. Maintain accurate records of medication administration.
Encourage and facilitate community engagement and social activities.
Promote independence and choice, respecting the dignity and rights of individuals.
Monitor and report on the well-being and progress of individuals.
Support individuals in accessing education, employment, and recreational opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
Compassionate and patient demeanour with a commitment to person-centred care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to undergo relevant training and development.
