Rate: £22,071 annual salary (for aged 21+, to be reviewed after Probation)

Current vacancies: Full Time & Part Time, Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Required: Driving Licence and access to own car

We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Support Workers to join our Supported Living Service in Herne Bay. This is a mix of male & female clients with mixed age range. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with various needs in achieving their personal goals and maximizing their independence. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those we support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support to individuals in a supported living environment.

  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.

  • Support individuals in managing their medications, ensuring adherence to prescribed regimens. Maintain accurate records of medication administration.

  • Encourage and facilitate community engagement and social activities.

  • Promote independence and choice, respecting the dignity and rights of individuals.

  • Monitor and report on the well-being and progress of individuals.

  • Support individuals in accessing education, employment, and recreational opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.

  • Compassionate and patient demeanour with a commitment to person-centred care.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to undergo relevant training and development.
