Working for symbol

Working for Symbol gives you the opportunity to be part of developing and delivering innovative and effective services as part of a wide variety of teams. We view the recruitment and retention of skilled and experienced staff who are committed to the organisation’s principles as essential to the organisation.

Whether you are a recent school leaver looking to start your career, a ‘returner’ who is ready to get back into work, or a ‘specialist’ ready to seek a new challenge, we may have job opportunities to interest you! If you are interested in working for Symbol UK or Symbol Family Support Services please forward your details to our Head Office for the attention of Julie Wagge, Director of Speech and Language or Tessa Duffy, Managing Director.

Specific, current opportunities are listed below. We tend, especially in our speech and language therapy services, to advertise the location and nature of services in which sessions are available and then put together posts around individual applicant’s skills and experience, clinical interests and availability according to other commitments and geographical preferences. Each post is uniquely graded depending upon the job description, demands of the post, experience and expertise of the applicant. A copy of our grading structure is provided when applicants are invited to interview.

Volunteering

From time to time, we have opportunities for people to join our services on a volunteer basis. This maybe to support a service that you are aware of or alternatively to develop your experience. Please contact our HR Department to discuss any opportunities in this area at HRadmin@symbolconnect.co.uk

Current Opportunities

We currently have a number of opportunities on a full or part-time basis for speech and language therapists at all levels to work in the south east.   Please contact Julie Wagge for an informal discussion.
