Due to considerable demand, we are expanding on our existing Short Break service, which provides respite services for adults with additional needs away from their families, in the form of short breaks.
We are looking for a full time Assistant Team Leader work as a Support Worker as well as taking on supervisory roles within the staff team. Daily tasks will include; assisting service users with everyday tasks, accompanying them in leisure activities, helping with personal care and other duties as required. Some admin will also be involved in keeping records of events, medication, incidents etc.
The short breaks vary from weekends to full weeks so the possibility exists to work long shifts followed by extensive time off. Hours will be confirmed depending on applicants and in the case of full time, may require some hours to be worked elsewhere in the company ie Lenham, Harrietsham or Headcorn.
